About Kevin Lepine and Hypnosis Unleashed
A native of Detroit , Kevin Lepine is a 1993 graduate of East Detroit High School. He lived in various metro Detroit cities, including Warren, Ferndale, Hamtramck, and even New Orleans, before becoming a headliner in Las Vegas.
Hypnotist Kevin Lepine’s hit show, “Hypnosis Unleashed,” at the Four Queens Hotel and Casino on Fremont Street has won Best of Vegas, TripAdvisor Hall of Fame and more.
“It’s amazing. It’s always evolving,” Lepine said. “Comedy changes every five years. You always have to look at your audience.”
What to Expect at the Show
During the interactive performance, Lepine takes volunteers from the audience, hypnotizes them onstage, and creates hilarious scenarios. Highlights include:
- Turning napkins into dollar bills for his hypnotized guests.
- Transforming big guys into dancing showgirls or Britney Spears impersonators.
- Couples rediscovering love through comedic, heartfelt interactions.
“You’ve got so many different personalities up there. You get so many different things,” Lepine said. “One of my favorite moments is when spouses interact lovingly. After 20 or 30 years, people assume you hate each other, but some couples are still going strong.”
Lepine’s wife, Emily Lepine, joins him onstage to ensure everything runs smoothly.
“She does all the hard work and makes sure everyone is safe,” Lepine said. “It’s fast-paced, fun, and leaves the audience feeling great.”
Lepine’s Detroit Roots and Inspiration
Lepine credits his early years at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle for shaping his career.
“I performed there when I was starting out,” he said. “Being onstage was always the place where I found myself. It’s great to come back and see familiar faces.”
During his time at East Detroit High School, Lepine appeared in school plays, including “The Outsiders” as Ponyboy, a role he calls his favorite. He also served as a student director for the school’s production of “Fame,” though he quickly realized directing wasn’t for him.
Supporting The Make-A-Wish Foundation
Lepine’s commitment to philanthropy began years ago when he dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle to visit a child in the hospital. The experience left a lasting impression.
“You can’t beat human capital,” Lepine said. “The fact that I can donate is an honor.”
